Don't miss out - apply today and start your journey with Team Apex!Job SummaryThe primary function of the Delivery Specialist is to safely deliver Apex's products to customer sites, pump chemicals, clean tanks, and also provide excellent customer service when performing job duties at customer sites.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesSafely deliver product to customer docks and on-site tanks, using an electronic transfer pump to transfer chemicals used in industrial water treatmentParticipate in the cleaning of tanks at customer sites, as neededAssist with the set-up of water treatment equipment at new customer sitesOccasionally assist with installation/service/maintenance at customer accountsPrepare proper shipping documentation for shipments and keep detailed and accurate records for Bills of LadingsEnsure compliance with DOT regulationsEffectively communicate with customers and team membersKeep vehicle and delivery equipment such (pumps, hoses, PPE) in good operating condition and keep up with recommended maintenance as neededPerform drum and tote cleaning, inspection and recyclingAssist with chemical blending activities by serving as back up for the chemical production team as neededAssist with a variety of warehouse dutiesTravel as needed to make deliveries (including overnight travel, estimated at 1 overnight per week)Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPossession of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Current HazMat endorsementCurrent Tanker endorsementAbility to perform job duties within a wide range of environmentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsClean driving recordAbility to safely and properly use an electric pallet jack to move skids or totes of chemicalsAbility to frequently lift 5 to 50-lbs. up to 5 ft. off the groundAbility to move 15, 30 and 55-gallon drums using a hand truckAbility and willingness to wear required PPE as required by role dutiesAbility to pass a respirator fit test and wear a half or full-face respiratorAbility to work well as part of a teamAbility and willingness to work overtime to meet production and delivery demandsAbility and willingness to travel as needed to make deliveries (including overnight travel, which is estimated to be up to 20%)Preferred QualificationsPossession of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated pay range for this role is between $25 - $34/hr, depending on qualifications and experience.
