Technical Business Analyst

Sterling Search Partners is helping a rapidly growing client with its search for a Technical BA. We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Technology Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in data analysis and reporting (especially Power BI), and hands-on capability with Microsoft applications and basic IT setup tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to drive efficiency and insight.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve performance and efficiency.Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support decision-making.Utilize Microsoft applications (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.) for analysis, reporting, and team collaboration.Assist with basic IT setup, including configuring email accounts, installing software, and onboarding new users.Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations by coordinating between technical teams and business users.Document workflows, processes, and system requirements clearly and accurately.Provide ongoing support and training to users on systems and reporting tools.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation and data visualization.Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Familiarity with basic IT functions, including software installation, email configuration, and user support.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) or ERP platforms.Basic understanding of databases or SQL.Experience working in a fast-paced business or consulting environment. xzbcwsv Exposure to process improvement methodologies or project management frameworks.Key CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and data interpretationCross-functional collaborationClear and concise communicationTechnical adaptabilityProblem-solving and initiative
