TeleSolv Consulting has a great opportunity for you to work with the Federal Government as a Senior Data Scientist. This position is an on-site position in Washington, DC/Ashburn, VA.
The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for supporting the tasks below:
Conduct quantitative analysis using operations research tools, economics, and other quantitative techniques in the areas of procedural implementations and performance issuesAssists in creating analysis proceduresAssists in the definition of machine learning and data mining strategiesAssists in creating, deploying, maintaining and refining decision management modelsData Scientists specialize in modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, and security for military and civilian agencies
Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. CitizenActive Top-Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, the sciences or related field of studyAt least eight (8) years specialized experience; or ten (10) years general experience and three (3) years specialized experience. General experience is experience gained in an office setting. Specialized experience must include a combination of office and field experience in performing modeling and conducting analysis in a law enforcement environment.

This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check.
