Planning and Billing Engineer

Job Description – Planning & Billing Engineer Position: Planning & Billing Engineer Department: Projects Location: Project Site / Corporate Office About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Planning & Billing Engineer to manage project planning, progress monitoring, client billing, subcontractor billing, and project reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of project scheduling, quantity verification, and construction billing processes. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and update project schedules using MS Project/Primavera. - Monitor project progress against planned milestones. - Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports (DPR/WPR/MPR). - Prepare client RA Bills and subcontractor bills. - Verify work quantities as per drawings and site execution. - Track project productivity and prepare progress dashboards. - Coordinate with execution, procurement, and commercial teams. - Monitor material consumption and project cost. - Identify project delays and prepare recovery plans. - Maintain project documentation, billing records, and MIS reports. Required Skills - Strong understanding of construction billing and quantity estimation. - Experience in RA Billing and reconciliation. - Good command of Microsoft Excel. - Ability to interpret construction drawings. - Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Qualifications - B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering. - 2–8 years of experience in infrastructure, industrial, or building projects. - Experience in roads, grading, earthwork, industrial, or civil construction projects will be preferred.
