The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind seeks a Construction Project Management Professional to serve as contract manager and Project Management Institute certified PMP on assigned construction projects. The role ensures accountability of work completed, manages vendor relationships, coordinates architectural/engineering services, inspects projects for compliance, and maintains documentation throughout the construction lifecycle. The position reports to the Executive Director of Safety and Facilities Operations and works collaboratively with construction professionals.

Key qualifications:

• Current certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI member
• Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and materials
• Ability to review and interpret contract documents, building plans, and specifications
• Ability to understand and apply laws, building codes, regulations, and procedures
• Ability to inspect construction projects for compliance and develop cost estimates
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
