About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IC Test Engineer – DC-DC Converter & Power Solutions to join our Mid-Vin Buck team within TI's Power Products division. You will own the full test lifecycle — from test plan generation to volume production release — for cutting-edge mid-voltage regulators serving enterprise, industrial, AI, and autonomous driving markets.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where your work directly ensures that millions of power devices shipped globally meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with design teams to understand device specifications and generate comprehensive test plans Create and optimize ATE test and characterization programs Design ATE hardware interface boards for silicon validation Debug and characterize silicon on ATE; correlate with bench measurements Perform statistical yield analysis, debug yield fallout, and drive yield improvement Support failure analysis tasks and comprehensive device debugging Drive silicon qualification including qual hardware development Lead test strategy definition for new DC-DC converter products Manage product release to volume production in collaboration with manufacturing teams Champion robust, cost-effective test solutions while maintaining accountability for product qualityRequired Skills & Experience
5+ years of relevant test engineering experience (8+ preferred) Hands-on ATE experience — Teradyne Eagle preferred; i Flex, LTX, or VLCT also considered Proven experience in characterization & production test program and hardware development Strong knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques Data analysis proficiency using Spotfire, data Power, or equivalent STDF-based tools Experience with lab equipment — oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, electronic loads Solid understanding of IC product development lifecycle from concept to volume production Experience in yield improvement and test time reduction initiativesPreferred Qualifications
Mixed-signal test experience on ATE, especially for power products Experience with test program offload to offshore manufacturing sites Programming skills in C++, Python, or C# Familiarity with revision control tools Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentGrowth: Work on industry-leading power IC technology shaping AI, EVs & industrial systems
