And we believe those same values should guide how we treat our employees.****Job Description:****Position Summary:**This position will encompass several areas of activity, with the major component devoted to clinical and pre-clinical teaching of general dentistry. Teaching responsibilities will focus on the supervision of students and faculty as patient/simulated patient care activities are conducted, student evaluation and assessment in the College’s patient/simulation clinics.**Essential Functions:*** Clinical teaching utilizing a proactive and engaged learning model.* Didactic teaching utilizing Mastery Learning.* Utilize evidence-based science in didactic and clinical teaching.* Integrate Biomedical Science in didactic and clinical teaching.* Overseeing and providing patient care as needed in the College’s clinics.* Manage and assess student progress toward competency.* Acquire certification in all specialty areas within one year of hire.* Adapt to current and future technologies (i.e. digital impressions, input of patient data) utilized at the CODM.* Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.* May be required to perform other duties as assigned.* Dedicated to Lifelong Colleague principles.**Qualifications:*** DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited US or Canadian dental school or equivalent.* Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada at the time of application and receive licensure within 3 months of hire.* Completion of a CODA-approved, post-doctoral residency in general dentistry (GPR or AEGD) is preferred, along with teaching experience at the pre-doctoral level**What We Offer*** Employee Assistance Programs including Mental Health services* Generous Vacation and Sick leave for a phenomenal work-life balance* Paid Holidays* Eligible to participate in the Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)* And additional employer paid benefitsFor more information about our mission, programs, and community, please visit our website: To Do Next**Apply through our Career Center at Roseman.edu!
