Sr Data Analyst - Data Analyst Advisor

This role supports data-driven decisions by building analysis and data mining solutions across structured and unstructured information.

• Location: Plano, TX (hybrid)
• Salary: USD 6,188 - 15,607 per month
• Minimum experience: 5 years
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline

Responsibilities

• Identify key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources
• Create solutions from initial concept through production with moderate direction
• Analyze and interpret structured and unstructured data to support informed business decisions
• Communicate results to a broad range of audiences, including management
• Use current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations
• Drive decision making using data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management
• Mentor less senior staff
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and programs
• Routinely present findings to management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficiency in analytics software and applications
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or finance
• Five (5) years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development, and/or predictive analytics

Additional Details

• Support air network design, optimization, and deployment
• Partner with stakeholders to plan capacity, onboard business, expand segments, and drive profitable growth
• Analyze performance to deliver improvements; air planning experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred hybrid locations: Pittsburgh, PA; Memphis, TN; or Plano, TX
• Consideration for candidates elsewhere within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories)
• Candidates within 50 miles of a FedEx campus must work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week
