Role Description

The Barista role at Al-Ghani is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages, teas, and other refreshments according to established recipes and quality standards. The Barista will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including equipment, counters, and seating spaces. Responsibilities also include assisting with basic food preparation for accompanying snacks, restocking supplies, and supporting smooth daily operations. The Barista is expected to provide friendly, efficient service, uphold hygiene and safety guidelines, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills.
• Effective Communication skills to interact with customers and team members clearly and respectfully.
• Barista skills, including coffee preparation, drink customization, and basic equipment handling.
• Food Preparation skills, with attention to hygiene, safety standards, and presentation.
• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced setting, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic numeracy and point-of-sale (POS) handling skills for order entry and payment processing.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required
