About the OpportunityJoin an established financial services organization’s application development team, helping modernize critical operations systems by migrating legacy applications to a modern, distributed architecture. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale applications using modern Java technologies while contributing across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, and production support.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Java developer with experience in financial services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using Java and modern development frameworks.Contribute to the migration of legacy systems to modern, distributed platforms.Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, and production support.Work within UNIX/Linux environments, leveraging scripting to support development, automation, and operational efficiency.Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.Help ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability across enterprise systems.
Required Qualifications5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.Previous experience within financial services; specific financial products or domain expertise are not required.Strong experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.Experience with Shell and/or Perl scripting for development and automation.Hands-on experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Solid understanding of enterprise Java technologies, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.Strong communication skills and experience working directly with internal business stakeholders.
Compensation & Work ArrangementBase Salary: $150,000–$160,000, with potential flexibility for the right candidate. xzbcwsv Schedule: Hybrid, three days per week in the office.
