Senior Accountant (US Accounting)

Key Responsibilities: • Manage and review day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks. • Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) • Handle bank reconciliations, AR/AP, journal entries, and general ledger adjustments • Prepare sales tax returns, 1099 filings, and ensure compliance with US accounting standards • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting queries • Work efficiently on QuickBooks or similar US accounting software

Requirements: • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in US Accounting. • Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end closing. • Proficiency in QuickBooks / Xero (mandatory). • Excellent communication, review, and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and manage client communications confidently.
