Candidates without relevant overseas education counselling experience should not apply.

We are looking for an experienced Education Consultant / Overseas Education Counsellor who can independently counsel students and manage qualified cases from initial consultation through application, visa and enrolment.

The consultant must be capable of assessing a student’s profile, exercising judgement, recommending suitable options, communicating confidently with students and parents, and taking ownership of cases.

• Counsel students based on academic background, career goals, finances and destination suitability.

• Recommend appropriate countries, universities and programs rather than simply processing student requests.

• Conduct student profiling and university/course shortlisting.

• Independently manage university applications and supporting documentation.

• Understand and follow institutional admissions requirements, documentation standards and compliance requirements.

• Guide students on tuition fees, scholarships, admission timelines and financial requirements.

• Support students through offer acceptance, financial preparation, visa documentation and visa processing.

• Maintain working knowledge of visa regulations and international student compliance requirements for destinations handled.

• Follow up consistently with prospective and existing students.

• Maintain an organised pipeline of enquiries, applications, offers, visas and enrolments.

• Work towards individual conversion and enrolment objectives while maintaining responsible counselling standards.

• Keep updated on university requirements, visa regulations and policy changes affecting international students.

• Maintain accurate records and provide concise management updates on leads, applications and conversions.

Candidates must have prior professional experience in overseas education counselling / international student recruitment.
