Description of Oilex : Oilex is the largest franchisee in the United States of Grease Monkey quick lubes. The company has 35 locations. Our main base is in Colorado where we have 25 locations. Additionally, we operate in Montana, Texas and Arizona. The business was founded 40 years and was acquired by HTR Capital in conjunction with Tamarix Capital Partners, Concentric Investment Partners and our President Ron Morrow, Jr. in June 2023. We are actively growing the business primarily through acquisitions but also through organic brownfield expansion (i.e. retrofit of automotive service buildings). The business is led by Ron Morrow, Jr., who is a seasoned industry veteran who has worked in the quick lube industry for 30 years. He was the industry Operator of the Year in 2024. Oilex was Grease Monkey Franchisee of the Year for 2024 as well.

Job Description : The Corporate Development Associate (“CDA”) will be responsible for the sourcing of acquisitions of existing quick lubes and brownfield opportunities. The CDA will spend most of their time sourcing quick lube acquisition opportunities in the Mountain West, Plain States and Southwest. The closing and execution of the acquisition will be led by the private equity team with the CDA assisting as agreed. The key responsibilities will be:

• Establishing relationships with quick lube owners and real estate brokers
• Attending conferences and events to cultivate relationships with quick lube sellers
• Cold calling and visiting with quick lube sellers
• Work with the private equity team and executive leadership team to close the acquisitions
• Identify potential brownfield expansion opportunities
• Assisting in creating a database of targets and tools to identify potential acquisition opportunities

Qualifications:

• Four-year university degree
• Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate development or buyside investment banking with an emphasis on acquisition sourcing
• Multi-unit acquisition experience is a plus
• Must be entrepreneurial and self-motivated
• Must be able to solve problems and determine solutions independently
• Team player with a growth mindset
• Willingness and ability to travel; potentially, significantly at times

Compensation:

• Base salary commensurate with experience
• Bonus based on acquisitions and performance of acquisitions
