Salary: $60,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• Hands-on coding experience gained through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
• Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and web or backend fundamentals.
• Ability to learn quickly and contribute effectively in an Agile environment.
• Bachelors degree.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement in Washington, D.C. or Virginia.
• Ability to pass a coding challenge, background check, and drug screening.
• Preferred: projects demonstrating AI-assisted development, such as AI-generated tests or AI-supported refactoring.
• Preferred: experience with cloud platforms, databases, or CI/CD.
• Preferred: interest in security, privacy, and handling sensitive information.

• Help drive adoption of AI-assisted DevSecOps practices, using large language models and automation tools to speed up secure containerization of legacy applications while maintaining compliance.
• Build and maintain AI-enabled CI/CD pipelines that generate security policies, container settings, and infrastructure-as-code templates based on application needs and best practices.
• Use AI coding assistants for implementation, refactoring, and documentation in line with team standards.
• Create unit and integration tests, increase coverage, and lower defect rates.
• Accelerate pull request reviews with AI-assisted summaries, risk notes, and review support.
• Use AI to search logs and documentation to troubleshoot issues and remove blockers.
• Work with product, design, security, and compliance partners to deliver production-ready increments.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, from concept and design through testing and delivery of high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Take part in technical solutioning and design discussions.
• Perform proof-of-concept work and develop end-to-end solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Add new features while improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability to meet client needs.
