Veterinary Technician Lead

Daily Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of veterinary assitants in providing high-quality care to animals
• Assist with surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring
• Ensure Fear Free practices are implemented in all aspects of patient care
• Provide preventive care services to maintain the health of our patients
• Oversee animal care and treatment plans

Required Skills:

• Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician (Preferred)
• Experience with IV catheterization, anesthesia, and catheterization
• Proficiency in ultrasound, internal medicine, and medication administration
• Ability to perform discharge planning, surgery, and lab procedures
• Skilled in venipuncture, critical care, X-rays, triage, and medical records management
