The Role

Full-time, permanent on-site Lead Mechanical Engineer opportunity in Sterling, Virginia. Candidates must have an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, or have held one within the last 2 years, and must hold or be able to obtain a favorable polygraph. Relocation may be possible.

What You Bring

• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, or held within the last 2 years
• Must hold or be able to obtain a favorable polygraph
• Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, graduate degree plus 7 years, or approximately 13 years of relevant experience without a degree
• Skills include precision mechanisms, mechatronics, electro-mechanical assemblies, 3D CAD, Creo, ASME Y14.5, GD&T, mechanical packaging, thermal and structural loading, SWaP optimization, part and assembly drawings, Technical Data Packages, prototype development, integration/testing, PDR/CDR, mechanical test plans, actuators, custom gear trains, electro-optical systems, additive manufacturing, and DFM/DFMA
• Available to work on-site in Sterling, VA 20166; exact secured worksite to be confirmed
