Company Description Shalee Global is an international study abroad consultancy that supports students and individuals in achieving their global education and mobility goals through expert counseling and mentoring. The organization offers end-to-end guidance, including university selection, application strategy, scholarships, visa and immigration assistance, English language testing support, and pre-departure preparation.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Educational Counselor role based in Lahore. The Educational Counselor will guide students through the entire study abroad process, including evaluating academic profiles, recommending suitable programs and destinations, and assisting with application timelines and documentation. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, and coordinating visa and test preparation support. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of international education systems, building relationships with partner institutions, and ensuring that each student receives personalized, ethical, and accurate guidance. The counselor will collaborate with internal teams to track student progress, manage records, and contribute to outreach activities such as seminars, workshops, information sessions. The counselors are also expected to attend various student recruitment events and marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Educational Consulting and Education, with an understanding of international study pathways and admission processes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to assess student profiles and guide them toward suitable academic and career options.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information in a simple, supportive manner.
• Must have at least a 4 years Bachelor's degree. Master is preferred.
• At least 2 years Prior experience in study abroad advising, university admissions, or education consultancy is required.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, student-facing environment, with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory counseling practices.
• Must be confident and well spoken individual.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Must have a can-do approach and desire to learn new skills.
• Must be living near DHA Phase 6 or willing to commute.
