Bar Manager

Role Description The Bar Manager role at Grumps is a full-time, on-site position based in North Goa. The Bar Manager oversees day-to-day bar operations, including managing staff schedules, supervising service, monitoring inventory, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards. This role includes creating and updating beverage menus, coordinating with suppliers, managing stock levels, and controlling costs. The Bar Manager leads and trains the bar team, supports customer service on the floor, handles guest feedback, and works closely with management to drive sales and maintain a high-quality guest experience. The position also involves maintaining bar equipment, ensuring accurate cash handling, and implementing operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and resolve issues professionally.
• Hands-on experience in Food & Beverage operations, including bar service, menu knowledge, and basic mixology.
• Ability to Train and coach team members to maintain consistent service standards and operational procedures..m
• Proven experience in bar or restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume bars and restaurants
• Comfort working evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by bar operations.
• Relevant hospitality or management education is an advantage but not mandatory; practical experience is highly valued.
