Job Description:

Role: Salesforce Commerce cloud Tech lead/Developer

Skill: Salesforce Commerce cloud Tech lead/Developer

Experience: 6+

Location: Chennai

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Tech Lead / Developer with strong expertise in B2 C Commerce Cloud development, architecture, integrations, and e Commerce implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SFRA, Site Genesis, OCAPI, SCAPI, cartridges, and third-party system integrations while leading development teams and delivering scalable e Commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions. Lead technical design discussions and provide architecture recommendations. Develop and customize SFCC storefronts using SFRA and Site Genesis. Build reusable cartridges and custom business functionalities. Implement integrations with payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CRM, and third-party applications. Develop and consume APIs using OCAPI, SCAPI, REST, and SOAP services. Optimize website performance, scalability, and security. Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices. Support production deployments, bug fixes, and incident resolution. Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2 C Commerce). Expertise in: SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) Site Genesis ISML Templates Controllers and Pipelines Business Manager Cartridges Development Proficiency in Java Script, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, and j Query. Experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, and web services. Strong knowledge of e Commerce workflows, checkout processes, promotions, and catalog management. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies. Understanding of performance optimization and caching mechanisms. Experience with payment gateway integrations such as Adyen, Pay Pal, Stripe, or Cyber Source.

Tech Lead Responsibilities

Lead offshore/onshore development teams. Review technical designs and ensure adherence to SFCC best practices. Estimate effort, allocate tasks, and track project delivery. Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies. Drive solution architecture and integration planning. Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Salesforce B2 C Commerce Developer Certification. Experience with Salesforce Order Management (OMS). Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration. Knowledge of PWA Kit and Headless Commerce architecture. Experience with Mule Soft or middleware integrations. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
