Red Line Security is a licensed Michigan private security company based in Grand Rapids. We're hiring unarmed security officers for part time and full time shifts at an office and residential building in downtown Grand Rapids.

ShiftsMonday through Thursday: 4:45 pm to 11:30 pmFriday: 3:45 pm to 11:30 pmSaturday and Sunday opening shift: 6:45 am to 3:30 pmSaturday and Sunday closing shift: 3:15 pm to 11:30 pmYou must be available to work weekends and holidays. The building has guard coverage on every holiday, so officers take turns working them. You won't be scheduled for every holiday unless you ask to be.What you'll doKeep a visible, professional presence in the main lobby and greet tenants and visitorsPatrol inside and outside the building on a set schedule, including the roof, stairwells, tenant floors, apartment floors and lower levelLock and unlock building entries on schedule and make sure tenant suites are securedArm and disarm the building alarm system at the start and end of shiftsKeep an accurate shift log and report incidents or maintenance issues to building managementContact law enforcement when needed and follow all post ordersHand the shift over to the next officerWhat we're looking for18 or older with a high school diploma or GED (required by Michigan law)Able to pass a background check & drug screening.
