Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for experienced security professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems on real-world vulnerability management scenarios. If you've spent time in the trenches — triaging CVEs, managing patch cycles, or prioritizing risk across production environments — your expertise is exactly what's needed to make AI smarter about cybersecurity. Location
Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications Classify severity, impact, exploitability, and appropriate remediation strategies Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and improve AI systems Apply your real-world experience to help AI understand the difference between theoretical risk and what actually matters in production Who You Are 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks (e.g., CVSS, EPSS, SSVC) You understand the nuance between a high-severity CVE and an actually exploitable threat in a real environment A structured, analytical thinker who can communicate complex security reasoning clearly Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with tools like Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar vulnerability management platforms Familiarity with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Background in threat intelligence, red teaming, or security engineering Prior experience contributing to AI training, annotation, or evaluation projects Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top AI research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your schedule, wherever you are Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with a global network of experts Do meaningful work that shapes how AI reasons about real-world security risk Potential for ongoing work and contract extension #J-18808-Ljbffr
