Technical Designer-Intimate Apparel

We are looking for a Freelance Technical Designer womens intimates and shapewear for a top Gen-Z lifestyle brand in NYC. This position operates 5 days onsite.Hourly pay rate $48.75 based on experienceResponsibilities:Individual contributor position responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.Typically reports to Technical Services Manager.Typically directs Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, Patternmaking or technical design equivalent experience.5-7+ years experience in technical design.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
