Textile Designer

We're Hiring: Textile Designer For 83 years, our looms in Bhadohi have turned yarn into carpets that outlive the spaces they anchor. Mat The Basics (M A Trading) is hiring an on-site Textile Designer to shape our next international collections. About the Role: You won't just generate digital renders. You'll design floor coverings for leading interior brands across the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, developing everything from initial colour stories and pattern repeats to the technical graphs our master weavers read on the mill floor. What We’re Looking For: •⁠ ⁠Degree in Textile/Surface Design. •⁠ ⁠2–3 years in rug or home textile design (exceptional fresh grads with standout portfolios welcome). •⁠ ⁠Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, or specialised textile CAD. •⁠ ⁠Sharp intuition for colour, texture, and yarn behaviour.
