Associate General Counsel - Healthcare

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be the lead advisor on provider relationships, prescribing, and healthcare regulation at a fast-growing healthcare technology company.

RequirementsLead legal work on relationships with medical groups, physicians, nurse practitioners, and other prescribersStructure provider arrangements in compliance with corporate practice of medicine (CPOM) rulesApply telehealth, remote and controlled substance prescribing, licensing, and scope of practice rules across all 50 statesGuide provider onboarding, credentialing, and prescribing authorityMonitor DEA, FDA, and state medical and pharmacy board developments, and manage regulatory inquiries and auditsOversee patient privacy and data security complianceManage outside counsel and mentor members of the legal teamQualificationsJD from an ABA accredited law school and active bar membership5+ years of healthcare regulatory experience with telemedicine companies, medical groups, physician practices, pharmacies, or pharmaceutical companiesProven experience advising physicians, nurse practitioners, and other prescribersIn depth knowledge of CPOM, xzbcwsv state medical board rules, provider licensing, and multistate telehealth and prescribing requirementsExperience negotiating agreements with providers, pharmacies, and healthcare partnersStrong grasp of federal and state healthcare, pharmacy, FDA, DEA, and privacy requirementsAbility to build compliance programs and translate complex regulations into practical business guidance in a fast-paced environmentPlease apply in confidence to
