A high-growth consulting firm is seeking a Director to join and grow its expanding Strategic Finance practice.
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director to lead and grow the practice within the Finance Strategy and Transformation team. This leader will work at the forefront of finance transformation, helping CFOs modernize their finance organizations by driving improvements across operating models, processes, technology, and talent. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the finance function for Fortune 1000 clients, delivering sustainable improvements in performance, efficiency, and insight.
What You’ll DoLead end-to-end finance transformation workstreams across strategy, operating model design, and executionPartner with CFOs and finance leadership to define target operating models, governance, and performance metricsRedesign core finance processes across Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay (R2R, O2C, P2P)Support deployment of ERP, EPM, automation, AI, and analytics solutionsDrive delivery across multi-workstream programs, ensuring quality, timelines, and measurable outcomesAct as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on finance strategy and performance improvementContribute to business development, proposals, and client relationship growthMentor and develop junior team members
What We’re Looking ForBackground in Big 4 or top-tier advisory firm15 years’ experience in finance transformation, finance operating model design, shared services, or performance improvementExposure to finance technology enablement (ERP, EPM, automation, analytics)Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence at CFO / Controller levelCommercial mindset with interest in client growth and practice development
