Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver working on behalf of our well-established customer in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for regular work with a professional operation that genuinely values its drivers.
Our customer is one of the UK's leading automotive distribution businesses, supplying products nationwide through an extensive logistics network.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded transport operation with a reputation for excellent driver support, modern vehicles and long-serving staff.
Pay Rates
Monday to Friday: £14.00 per hour
Saturday: £16.00 per hour
Holiday entitlement accrued separately in accordance with PAYE regulations
Weekly pay
Shift Pattern
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver , you will typically work:
Monday to Friday
Start times between 06:00 and 08:00
Shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
Occasional overtime available
Regular ongoing work
Duties of the 7.5 Tonne Driver
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Completing between 1 and 3 deliveries or collections nationwide
Delivering to stores and customer locations
Operating a tail lift safely and efficiently
Completing all POD and delivery documentation accurately
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
Providing excellent customer service whilst representing the business professionally
Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times
This 7.5 Tonne Driver role combines driving, customer interaction and delivery responsibilities, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy being out on the road and providing a great service.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Valid UK 7.5 Tonne (C1) Licence
Valid CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Good communication skills
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Previous delivery driving experience desirable
