Location: McLean, VAExperience: 14+ YearsWork Arrangement: Onsite / Local Candidates Only (NO Relocation)Interview Process: In-Person InterviewEmployment Type: ContractJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect with 14+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, Salesforce platform development, and CRM solution design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions while leading technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable Salesforce architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards.Lead Salesforce solution design, technical architecture, and implementation across multiple Salesforce clouds and applications.Define architecture standards, design patterns, integration strategies, and development best practices.Architect Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.Provide technical leadership to Salesforce developers, administrators, and implementation teams.Evaluate Salesforce platform capabilities and recommend solutions that support business objectives.Oversee data modeling, data migration, security, identity management, and access control strategies.Design solutions using Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other relevant platform technologies.Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability of Salesforce applications.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.Establish code quality standards, deployment strategies, CI/CD practices, and governance frameworks.Guide technical troubleshooting, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications14+ years of overall IT experience, including substantial experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation.Extensive hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform and enterprise CRM solutions.Strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, solution design, and technical leadership.Experience with Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and SOQL.Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and enterprise system integrations.Experience with Salesforce security models, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and data access controls.Knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, large data volumes, performance optimization, and scalability.Experience with Salesforce deployment tools, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsSalesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other relevant Salesforce Architect certifications.Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or other relevant Salesforce products.Experience designing enterprise-scale, multi-system Salesforce solutions.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and enterprise architecture frameworks.Location RequirementsLocal candidates only: Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of McLean, VA.Candidates must be available for an in-person interview. xzbcwsv Relocation candidates will not be considered.
