TM Floyd is seeking an experienced C#/.NET Developer to support and enhance critical applications within the Electric Transmission application portfolio.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on developer who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting enterprise applications, developing new features, and collaborating with business and technology teams to maintain reliable, high-performing systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using C# and .NETProvide application support, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve incidentsBuild and support REST APIs, system integrations, and backend business logicWork with business owners and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver solutionsPerform unit testing, participate in code reviews, and follow established coding standardsSupport SQL Server databases and relational database operationsCollaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and engineering teamsMaintain technical documentation and contribute to application stability and continuous improvementMentor junior team members and help promote development best practicesRequired Technical Qualifications5+ years of experience in application support, software development, or systems analysisStrong experience with C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET CoreExperience with SQL Server and relational databasesExperience developing and supporting REST APIs and system integrationsKnowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular or similar frontend frameworksExperience supporting Windows-based enterprise applicationsProficiency with Git, SDLC processes, troubleshooting, and technical documentationWhat Makes You a Great Fit?Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationA customer-focused mindset and the ability to understand business needsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesA proactive approach to troubleshooting, application maintenance, and continuous improvementPreferred: Experience in the utilities or energy industry and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
