Job Description
Overview Physical Therapist – General, Fort Bragg, California. Travel assignment starting 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Work setting: a critical access hospital. Weekly compensation ranges from $2,615 to $2,753 per week. Key Highlights

- Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations to determine functional status and needs
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Deliver therapy interventions using evidence-based techniques
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes
- Establish discharge plans and communicate care goals to patients and team
- Supervise assigned aides and maintain accurate clinical documentation within deadlines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree; required, with note: license eligibility rules apply (only if licensure obtained after January 2016 or foreign equivalent)
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice (California) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting, including inpatient and outpatient services
- Willingness to work a day-shift schedule on a 5x8 rotation
- Assignment coordination and travel support
- Ongoing recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment
- Credentialing and licensing assistance as needed
- Dedicated support team to help you navigate the travel assignment
