Position: Embedded Firmware Engineer – Automotive

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for automotive ECUs.
• Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++ and FreeRTOS/RTOS .
• Work on Embedded Linux / Linux Kernel and low-level firmware components.
• Develop and integrate CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
• Implement UDS diagnostics, DTCs, POST, BIST, fault handling, and safe-state mechanisms .
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause analysis .
• Work with Automotive Ethernet, TCP/IP, and UDP communication.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on Embedded Firmware Development .
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ .
• Experience with Embedded Linux / Linux Kernel .
• Hands-on experience with FreeRTOS / RTOS .
• Good knowledge of CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C .
• Experience with UDS, DTC, TCP/IP, UDP, and Automotive Ethernet .
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of NXP S32G/S32K or similar automotive processors.
• Experience in hardware debugging and board bring-up .
