First Party Property Attorney

Pay scale: $95000- $120000 Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its First Party Property practice group in Tampa, FL. The team handles sinkhole, water, wind, and fire damage claims across the state, offering a supportive environment for legal professionals dedicated to property litigation. Duties Take and defend depositions, draft and argue dispositive motions, and attend hearings, mediations, and trials. Perform legal research, analyze case law, and prepare pleadings and correspondence. Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel to provide exemplary legal counsel. Requirements Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Show strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior litigation experience is preferred, though not required. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active license to practice law in the State of Florida. Skills Proficiency in legal research and case law analysis. Strong advocacy skills for depositions, motions, and trials. Effective client management and professional communication.
