Description of Work The Administrative Associate II is responsible for help covering reception duties and providing administrative support This position provides general office support to include copying and faxing. This position will also help answering a multiple line switchboard and routing all calls to the appropriate person. Greet all clients and visitors when entering the building. Open and distribute all incoming mail. Address and meter all outgoing mail correspondence. Assist with filing appropriate information in local client charts. Receive and send correspondence via fax and mail. This position with assist the billing department with duties such as billing and reimbursement support functions, including reviewing and entering Financial Eligibility Applications and billing forms into the electronic system and submitting electronic and manual claims to Medicaid and private insurance companies. Performs other duties as assigned. Administrative Associate II position, located in Fayetteville/Cumberland County, supports operational functions that allow the CDSA of the Cape Fear to maximize agency revenues, maintain staff efficiency, and comply with state and federal requirements. The Children’s Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) of the Cape Fear serves a 9-county catchment area including the following counties: Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Cumberland, Duplin, New Hanover, Pender, Robeson, and Sampson. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $31,200 -$51,249 Recruitment Range: $31,200 -$35,646 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred.- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft office programs, including proficiency with Microsoft word and Excel (knowledge of any other programs is a plus).
- Good written and oral communication skills, including experience with memo writing, emails and contacting vendors, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time independently.
- Ability to complete and prioritize tasks to meet agency deadlines.
