Management Trainee Intern → Founder’s Office Stealth-mode consumer hardware startup | Gurgaon (preferred) / Remote | 6 months → full-time

We’re looking for one absurdly capable undergrad to sit next to the founder and own the messy middle of building a company. Not “assist.” Own.

What we’re building:

Home automation in India is a rich person’s toy. Thousands of players, and still under 1% of homes have it — because the entry ticket is lakhs of rupees. We’re killing that. Premium hardware, world-class app, priced like your WiFi bill. Backed by a strong angel round. Product’s nearly done, beta ships next month. You’d be joining before almost anyone else did.

What you’ll actually do:

There is no defined scope. That’s the point. But roughly:

• Run the founder’s operating system. Priorities, follow-ups, who’s blocking what, what’s about to slip. You’re the reason nothing falls through.
• Write the SOPs that don’t exist yet. Installation, service, onboarding, finance ops. You’ll draft v1 of processes that 100 people will follow next year.
• Chase stakeholders until things move. Internal and external. Politely, relentlessly, without needing to be told twice.
• Talk to vendors. Source them, compare them, negotiate, hold them to timelines.
• Help us hire. Sourcing, screening, coordinating, keeping candidates warm.
• Build the scaffolding. Trackers, dashboards, org structure, whatever’s missing. Usually with AI doing 80% of the grunt work.
• Solve problems nobody has solved before. Most of your job. There will be no playbook, no senior to ask, and no Google result.

Who this is for

• Undergrad from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 college
• You’ve r un something real — fest, club, campus startup, society, event with actual budgets, vendors and people who let you down. We care far more about this than your CGPA.
• You use AI like a power tool , not a homework cheat. You should be able to walk us through a workflow you built that saved you serious time.
• You can get a stranger on a call and get what you need from them You are comfortable with ambiguity that would make most people anxious
• You reply fast. You close loops. You don’t need reminders.
• Intensity is your default setting — this is a 6-day, long-hours, high-ownership role and we’re not going to pretend otherwise

• Anyone who needs to be told what to do next
• Anyone who thinks “that’s not my job” is a sentence

The deal

• Stipend ₹25,000/month fixed
• Performance Bonus Up to ₹10,000/month, based on actual output
• Duration 6 months
• Conversion Strong performers get a full-time offer. This is the primary path we’re hiring for — not a maybe.
• Location Gurgaon preferred. Remote works if you’re exceptional.
• Reporting Directly to the founder

Why you’d want this

Six months of this compresses about three years of normal career learning. You’ll see how pricing gets set, how a brand gets named, how hires get made, how vendors get squeezed, how a product actually ships. Then you’ll have built the thing you’re describing in every interview for the next decade.

Also: you’ll be employee #-something-tiny at a company trying to put smart homes in 100 million Indian households.
