Senior Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst

Title: Senior Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Job Responsibilities: Support, maintain, and optimize Epic Professional Billing (PB) applications. Lead PB build, upgrades, testing, and workflow improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis. Collaborate with revenue cycle and operational teams to improve billing processes. Provide documentation, training, and production support. Must Have/Required: Active Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification . 5+ years of healthcare IT experience with 3+ years supporting Epic PB. Strong experience with Epic PB build, configuration, and maintenance. Knowledge of professional billing, claims management, charge capture, denials, payment posting, and reimbursement workflows. Experience with upgrades, integrated testing, and issue resolution. Understanding of CMS-1500 claims, CPT/HCPCS/ICD coding concepts, and payer requirements. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: Epic Resolute PB, Charge Router, HB, Reporting Workbench, or Clarity certifications. Experience supporting multiple hospitals or health systems.
