Key Roles & Responsibilities
Security Operations
Lead overall plant security operations. Ensure protection of company assets, materials, equipment, and employees. Develop and implement security policies and procedures. Manage access control systems, visitor management, and perimeter security.Safety & Risk Management
Oversee security and safety measures related to personnel and material movement. Conduct risk assessments and threat analysis. Handle emergency response planning and crisis management.Team Leadership
Manage security officers, guards, and contract security agencies. Monitor security performance and ensure compliance with company standards. Train and mentor security personnel.Strategic Decision-Making
Make decisions at Cross-Functional Team (CFT) level involving Operations, HR, EHS, Administration, and Legal teams. Participate in senior management reviews on security-related matters.Investigations & Compliance
Conduct investigations into theft, fraud, security breaches, and incidents. Liaise with local police, government authorities, and regulatory agencies. Ensure statutory and corporate security compliance.Greenfield Project Support
Support security planning for new plant setup (Greenfield projects). Design security infrastructure including: Boundary walls CCTV systems Access control systems Security command centers Employee and vehicle entry systemsPreferred Candidate Profile
Ex-Army, Air Force, or Navy officer. Minimum rank: Wing Commander (IAF) Lieutenant Colonel (Army) Commander (Navy) Lower ranks (Sqn Ldr/Major/Lt Cdr) may be considered with 10+ years of corporate security experience. Experience as a Plant Security Head is highly preferred. Strong leadership, crisis management, and stakeholder management skills.Details
