I am seeking an interim fully remote insurance accounting professional to support reinsurance accounting, statutory reporting, filings, and audits. This is a contract role (W2 or 1099), could be temp to hire and would remain remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Account for ceded reinsurance transactions, settlements, funds withheld arrangements, and accruals
• Evaluate reinsurance contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment
• Assist with quarterly/annual statutory financial statements, state and NAIC filings
• Prepare and review reporting schedules and exhibits using Wings
• Support variance analysis and financial reporting
• Collect documentation and respond to interim and annual audit requests
