Quality assurance executive

Job Purpose:
To ensure the highest standards of quality assurance for Aluminium Rod manufacturing by conducting timely testing, maintaining compliance with customer, statutory, and IS requirements, facilitating smooth customer and third-party inspections, implementing corrective actions based on customer feedback, sustaining quality documentation, and delivering defect-free products while achieving zero PFG through robust quality control and continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth functioning of all QA activities across the plant.
Conduct timely testing of manufactured Aluminium Rods with zero pending finished goods (PFG).
Facilitate successful customer and third-party inspections without major observations.
Maintain and sustain quality documentation, records, and BIS compliance.
Ensure timely calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
Implement corrective and preventive actions based on customer feedback and inspection findings.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Minimize Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards.
Key Requirements & Skills:
Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
Educational Qualification- Diploma / B. E. in Electrical Engineering
Verification and validation of calibration certificates.
Knowledge of Quality Core Tools (7 QC-Tools, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, MSA, etc.).
Knowledge of Aluminium Rod manufacturing processes and product specifications.
Understanding of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
Knowledge of BIS, IS standards, and quality management systems.
Customer and Third-Party Inspection handling.
Quality documentation and record management.
Testing and measuring equipment management and calibration control.
