The Dean will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic strategy and enhancing the quality of education. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned academic professional with a deep understanding of liberal arts and its specializations, a track record of academic leadership, and a passion for driving educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the academic vision and strategy aligned with the institution's mission and goals.
• Lead curriculum development, ensuring it meets the highest standards and aligns with industry needs.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Faculty Management:

• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-caliber faculty to deliver cutting-edge education.
• Oversee faculty development programs to enhance teaching quality and research capabilities.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty members.

Program Development and Accreditation:

• Lead the design and launch of new academic programs in response to emerging trends.
• Ensure the successful accreditation and re-accreditation of academic programs by relevant authorities.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with academic policies and regulations.

Student Success:

• Implement strategies to enhance student learning outcomes and academic performance.
• Promote student engagement in research, internships, and practical training opportunities.
• Support student career services and placement efforts, ensuring strong industry connections.

Research and Innovation:

• Promote a strong research culture within the institution, encouraging faculty and students to engage in impactful research.
• Facilitate collaboration with healthcare organizations, government bodies, and other academic institutions for research initiatives.
• Secure research funding and grants to support academic projects.

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D.in Liberal Arts or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 15 years of academic experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, faculty management, and academic program accreditation.
• A strong track record of research publications and contributions to the academic community.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
