Novant Health is seeking a Clinic Administrator II to support our Pediatric Gastroenterology & Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics clinics!
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Novant Health Pediatric Gastroenterology and Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics is seeking a Clinic Administrator II to lead the day-to-day operations of both the primary clinics and satellite locations. This leadership role oversees approximately 20 clinical and clerical team members and partners closely with 7 providers to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and a positive team culture.
Manages, supervises and coordinates all functions and activities related to the operations of physician practices, complex management responsibility (i.e., billing and collecting), and/or special projects, (i.e. practice start up), as directed by Administration. This is an experienced, moderate to high level practice management position with a comparable level of complexity. Practice scope is moderately complex for number of providers, staff and revenue with a larger geographical area and possible practices in 2 or more locations.
What You'll Do Job responsibilities include:- Oversee all operational aspects of the clinic, including staffing and workflow management.
- Manage supply ordering and inventory to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide coaching and conduct feedback conversations to support team development.
- Maintain and optimize physician scheduling templates to ensure adequate patient access.
- Troubleshoot facility issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Support clinical functions
- Engage comfortably in patient-facing interactions to deliver excellent customer service.
- Address and resolve patient complaints promptly and professionally
What We're Looking For
- Education: Must meet one of the following: Four year Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or eight years of relevant professional experience, required.
- Experience : One-plus years of practice manager experience preferred with a Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Licensure/certification/registration: Current State Drivers License (Home Care Only) , required.
- Additional skills required: Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; skills in interviewing and selection process; understanding of budgeting, staffing, payroll and purchasing processes; implementation of competency, feedback, development and progressive discipline processes; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations.
