The RoleConduct deep fundamental research across healthcare, with a focus on therapeutics and oncologyDevelop differentiated investment ideas and build high-conviction views on companiesTake meaningful ownership of a defined set of names and develop deep expertise across the spaceAnalyze clinical, commercial, financial and industry developments and translate them into investment decisionsMonitor companies closely and stay ahead of key developments, catalysts and risksParticipate in both public-market research and private-company diligenceWork collaboratively across the investment team while maintaining significant autonomy around coverage
Ideal Background3-7 years of relevant experienceHealthcare / Therapeutics equity research experience, ideally with OncologyExperience across Immunology, Rare Disease, Diagnostics or Early-Commercial Therapeutics also highly relevantStrong preference for top-tier equity research or high-quality fundamental buy-side experienceStrong fundamental investment mindset with a long-term, long-biased orientationAble to understand complex scientific information and translate it into clear investment conclusionsExceptional curiosity, analytical ability and information-processing skills
