Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TIA Portal, PCS 7, Win CC platforms , and industrial communication protocols , along with a solid understanding of process control and instrumentation .

Key Responsibilities:

PLC, SCADA & HMI Development: Design, develop, and program automation systems using Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400, S7-1200/1500, PCS 7) with knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), FBD, and CFC . Develop SCADA and HMI applications using Win CC Classic, Win CC Professional, Win CC Unified , and Basic/Comfort HMI panels.

Industrial Communication & Integration: Configure and integrate field devices and systems using Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ether Net/IP , and OPC UA . Troubleshoot and resolve communication and device integration issues across control networks.

Process Automation & Control: Implement and optimize PID control loops , batch processing logic, and instrument calibration. Collaborate with process and instrumentation teams to ensure control strategies align with plant operations.

Project Execution & Documentation: Lead and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) . Prepare and review technical documentation , including control philosophy, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and validation reports. Conduct risk assessments , manage on-site commissioning, and provide post-installation support.

Required Skills & Experience: PLC Platforms: Siemens S7 (300/400/1200/1500), TIA Portal, PCS 7 SCADA & HMI: Win CC Classic, Professional, Unified; Basic/Comfort HMI Programming Languages: Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram (FBD), CFC Industrial Protocols: Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA, Ether Net/IP Process Knowledge: PID Control, Batch Logic, Instrumentation Tools: TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Win CC Engineering, Microsoft Office, Auto CAD (preferred)

Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent documentation and reporting ability Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and within project teams Strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering 3+ years of experience in Siemens-based industrial automation projects Experience across sectors like pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, chemicals, or utilities Siemens certification (TIA Portal / PCS 7 / Win CC) is a plus
