Automation Lead-Playwright

Hi All,

We have urgent requirement for Automation Lead-Playwright for Navi Mumbai Location.

Key Responsibilities:

7–9 years in automation testing, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior individual contributor role with informal team supervision.

• Strong hands-on proficiency Playwright.

• Experience automating MS Dynamics CRM-based banking applications at the UI and API level.

• Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitLab) and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr/qTest).

• Demonstrated ability to plan and allocate work across a small automation team.

• Client-facing communication experience, including status reporting and defect triage discussions.

• A minimum of 2 years of banking domain project experience.

• Own sprint-level automation planning, including scoping, estimation, and task allocation across a pod of Automation Engineers.

• Lead hands-on development of complex automation scripts in Python and Java, and review scripts built by the team for framework compliance.

• Extend and maintain automation coverage for MS Dynamics CRM-based banking workflows across UI and API layers.

• Coordinate with the Automation Architect on framework enhancements and represent the pod in framework governance discussions.

• Act as the first point of contact for client stakeholders on automation status, defect trends, and sprint-level risks.

• Drive CI/CD pipeline health for the automation suite, including flaky test triage and execution stability.

• Mentor and upskill Automation Engineers and Sr. Automation Engineers, and support onboarding of new team members.

• Introduce AI-led automation practices, such as AI-assisted script generation and self-healing locators, into day-to-day scripting where appropriate.
