Job Description – Retail Sales Executive

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Retail Sales Executive to drive sales through retail and distribution channels. The ideal candidate should have experience in media sales, advertising, publishing, or related industries and strong market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales through retailers, distributors, dealers, and local business partners .
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand the retail network.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct regular market visits and understand customer and competitor activity.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
• Track sales performance, collections, and market feedback.
• Generate regular sales reports and share market insights with the management.
• Ensure strong visibility and availability of products across assigned markets.

Required Skills

• 1–4 years of experience in Retail Sales / Media Sales / Publishing / Advertising .
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of the local market and retail ecosystem.
• Target-oriented with strong business development skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with channel partners.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and basic reporting.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in media, newspaper, magazine, publishing, advertising, or allied industries will be preferred.
