Category Nursing - RN-PICU Job Type Contract Deliver advanced, compassionate care for critically ill children in a dynamic Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as well as patients within the adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This contract opportunity is designed for experienced Registered Nurses dedicated to making a tangible impact and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications: Current RN license in good standing Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU and/or ICU experience BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS strongly preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to remain calm and organized in high-pressure scenarios Familiarity with EMR systems and evidence-based clinical practices Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adult ICU patients, following individualized care plans Closely monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and promptly identify and respond to changes in condition Administer medications, infusion therapies, and assist with advanced procedures Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide education and support to patients and families, keeping them informed and involved in the care process Maintain precise documentation and report findings to the healthcare team Uphold infection control and patient safety standards at all times This contract role offers the chance to expand your clinical expertise while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
