Senior Copywriter — MX Advertising

Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)

Experience: 5+ years in an advertising agency

MX Advertising is looking for a Senior Copywriter to shape the voice of multiple brands across social media, activations, films and mainline media. This is a senior creative seat: you'll write, but you'll also raise the bar for the writing around you by guiding junior writers, defending ideas in client rooms, and driving the language of new business pitches.

What you’ll do:

·      Concept & write campaigns across social, digital, print, film right from big-idea headlines to platform-native copy

·      Lead copy on assigned brands end to end: briefs, scripts, adaptations and everything in between

·      Mentor junior writers and review their work, maintaining the quality and consistency of copy across the team

·      Partner with design and client servicing teams to build campaigns & communication for brands

·      Present ideas to clients, take feedback without losing the idea, and keep work aligned to brand goals

·      Play a core creative role in new business pitches from cracking ideas, writing the pitch narrative & presenting

·      Track culture, platforms and industry work to keep the team's thinking fresh

What we're looking for:

·      5+ years of copywriting experience in an advertising agency, with a portfolio spanning social, digital, film, mainline, activations.

·      English-first writer: sharp, idiomatic English copy is the core. Working knowledge of Hindi is a plus for film and mainline adaptations.

·      Proven conceptual and storytelling ability backed by strategic thinking, meaning you can explain why an idea works, not just write it.

·      Experience presenting to clients and handling feedback directly.

·      Comfort leading or mentoring other writers, even informally.
