About the RoleOur client is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer to own two critical areas of its technical infrastructure:
Building and maintaining reliable, secure cloud infrastructure and connectivity across customer environments.Strengthening and maintaining the company's SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 security compliance programs.
This is a hands-on infrastructure role that combines DevOps, cloud networking, security engineering, and compliance.
You'll work directly with engineering teams and enterprise customers to solve complex infrastructure challenges, automate deployments, and ensure the platform operates securely across AWS, GCP, Azure, and hybrid environments.
The ideal candidate is an infrastructure-focused engineer who enjoys solving difficult networking problems, building automation, and taking ownership of production systems.
What You'll DoCloud Infrastructure & DevOpsDesign, build, and maintain Terraform modules for cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments using GitHub Actions or similar tooling.Build secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure supporting enterprise AI applications.Develop automation and internal tools to improve deployment reliability and infrastructure management.Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production cloud environments.Enterprise Networking & ConnectivityTroubleshoot connectivity between the company's infrastructure and enterprise customer environments.Solve complex networking issues involving VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS, subnets, and CIDR conflicts.Collaborate directly with customer IT and network engineering teams.Design secure connectivity solutions across AWS, GCP, Azure, and hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure.Build monitoring and diagnostic tools to proactively detect infrastructure and connectivity issues.Security & ComplianceMaintain and improve SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance programs.Manage evidence collection, security controls, policies, and documentation using Vanta or similar platforms.Coordinate internal security practices and ensure ongoing compliance.Support external audits, penetration tests, and remediation efforts.Automate security and compliance workflows to reduce manual overhead.Partner with engineering and leadership to improve the company's overall security posture.What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Security Engineering.Strong hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.Deep expertise with AWS infrastructure, including VPC, IAM, networking, VPNs, and compute services.Strong networking fundamentals involving firewalls, routing, DNS, subnets, VPNs, and CIDR planning.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or comparable security compliance frameworks.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across complex cloud and networking environments.Ability to work directly with enterprise customer IT and security teams.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, security, and business teams.Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.Bonus ExperienceExperience with GCP, Azure, or multi-cloud infrastructure.Experience with Vanta, AWS GuardDuty, CloudWatch, or similar security and monitoring tools.Experience working with enterprise or regulated customers in finance, manufacturing, or other security-sensitive industries.Familiarity with SAP environments or enterprise software integrations.Experience building automation scripts, infrastructure tooling, or network diagnostics.Experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits.Previous experience at an early-stage startup or high-growth technology company.Why This OpportunityJoin an AI-native startup founded by accomplished AI researchers and experienced entrepreneurs.Help build infrastructure for AI agents operating inside some of the world's largest enterprises.Own critical cloud infrastructure, customer connectivity, and security compliance.Solve challenging networking and infrastructure problems across enterprise environments.Work with a small, highly technical team shipping production AI capabilities frequently.Influence architecture, infrastructure standards, and security practices as the company scales.Receive competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
