Construction Project Engineer

Job Title: Construction Project EngineerDarland Construction Co. is looking for a highly motivated Construction Project Engineer (PE) whose role will be to support the project management team to ensure a successful construction project.

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Construction Management/ Construction Engineering or a Construction Management Certificate from an accredited universityApplicable internships and field experience preferredCandidates must have working knowledge of MS Office 365, CPM scheduling, and constructionmanagement software (preferably Procore). Additional training will be provided.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain, update and distribute construction documents (RFIs, ASIs, PRs, etc.)Help maintain organized and safe worksitesReview, expedite and track submittalsAttend job site meetings and maintain meeting minutesAssist in preparing bid packages, issuance of contract documents and invoice approvalAssist in producing and updating project schedulesAssist in resolving design issuesSchedule and document client training for new systems and equipmentManage project closeout process, including owner training and archiving project recordsField and manage warranty requests
