Role Purpose

Lead end-to-end purchasing, strategic sourcing, supplier development, cost optimization, and supply risk management for automotive components across Trims & Cab and Chassis commodities . The role will focus on building a competitive supplier ecosystem, driving localization and cost reduction, ensuring supply continuity, and supporting new product development.

Candidate Profile

• 5–10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier development, or supply chain management, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive component sourcing, manufacturing processes, and tooling cost structures .
• Experience in sourcing Trims & Cab and/or Chassis commodities .
• Strong expertise in RFQ management, negotiations, contract management, cost modelling, and should-costing .
• Hands-on experience with VA/VE, localization, supplier development, and cost optimization .
• Strong understanding of supplier performance management and supply risk mitigation.
• Good stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• BE/BTech in Mechanical / Industrial / Polymer Engineering ; MBA is preferred.
