The Field Technician is responsible for executing traffic control operations in accordance with company procedures, TXDOT specifications, and project requirements. Under the direction of the Field Supervisor or Operations Manager, the Field Technician performs these critical functions:
Flagging operations , where trained flaggers use STOP/SLOW paddles and hand signals to control one-way traffic through construction zones. xzbcwsv  
Pedestrian and worker protection through temporary walkways, barriers, and safety measures that separate the public from work activities.
