Tax Specialist

Job purpose: Indirect Tax Specialist acts as a tax process expert, a self-reliant process performer, focused and specialized in delivery of Tax compliance (mainly VAT): means delivery of VAT returns, Excise Duty returns and other local Indirect Tax Reports. Key responsibilities: 1) Completes all Tax related accounting activities and tax compliance activities upon which tax reporting depends, including control checks of transactional data to identify any errors or anomalies. Resolving errors/anomalies by engaging with OpCos/other business streams • Preparation and timely, accurate delivery of VAT returns, • Preparation of local statutory accounts - analysis and reconciliation of GL indirect tax accounts in line with local legislation • Completes Period End Close activities related to VAT ac
